Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This policy explains how Finnid Infotech Private Limited (operating the Bizpriest brand) handles refunds and cancellations for our consultancy engagements.
Before work begins
If you change your mind before we have started any substantive work on your engagement, you can cancel and receive a full refund of any advance fees you have paid.
Work in progress
Once we have started work (for example, checked name availability, drafted documents, or contacted the relevant government portal on your behalf), refunds are calculated based on the stage of work:
- Before filing: Refund of the balance after deducting the value of work already done.
- After filing: No refund of professional fees. Government fees and third-party charges are non-refundable in all cases once paid.
Government approvals
If a government authority rejects an application despite our best-effort preparation, we do not refund professional fees for the work that was done. We do, however, continue to work with you on clarifications and resubmissions at no additional professional fee for the same engagement, subject to reasonable limits agreed in writing.
Third-party charges
Government fees, digital signature certificate costs, platform fees, and similar third-party charges are pass-through and non-refundable once they have been paid to the third party.
How to request a refund
- Your engagement reference or enquiry ID.
- The reason for the cancellation or refund request.
- Your preferred refund method (typically the same channel as the original payment).
We respond to refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are usually credited within 7 to 10 business days depending on your bank and payment method.
Disputes
We aim to resolve refund disagreements directly and in good faith. If we cannot, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Note: Bizpriest is a brand of Finnid Infotech Private Limited, a business compliance consultancy. We are not affiliated with the Government of India.
